This is an antique World War I Era Wooden Swagger Stick. It measures just under 34” long. It appears to have been hand carved & has an engraved nameplate that was hand screwed onto the side of the stick. The name C. P. Breidinger who was part of the USNAF, the United States Navy Air Force?? This was an estate sale find so exact age & other history isn’t known. Swagger Sticks were commonly used by soldiers in WW I. The stick itself is in very good shape for its age. It shows light scratches & wear that is consistent with age & usage. No major cosmetic blemishes. Very unique collectible piece!
