Pre-owned vintage piece of art. Purchased second hand, selling as is. Weathered vintage wood frame. Both the frame and tapestry have some signs of wear due to age and storage. Has not been cleaned and has been in storage. Measurement are approx: Canvas 16.5" X 22" Frame 27" x 18" Paul Gauguin produced Road in Tahiti back in 1891. It would be one of his earliest artworks produced on this island and would be a sign of things to come with regards the rest of his career. The painting depicts a road in Tahiti. The soil is red, several people make their way down the road, whilst a donkey or horse can be found relaxing by itself. In the background of Road in Tahiti we then see several hills leading up to mountains in the far distance. Behind them is a small section of bright blue sky and some white clouds. Smoke & pet free home. I have a small resale business and our items are photographed and stored in storage units (indoor climate controlled). #vintage #art #tahiti
