Very rare hand-crafted glass figure. Doctor with syringe, a real rarity. Jaroslav Brychta, professor, 1950s... Stunning Bohemia Glass physician made in Czechoslovakia. Check out the beautiful base and detail of his glasses. Measures approximately 8.25” tall and the base is about 2.75” X 3” Absolutely magnificent glass figure from Bohemia. Made in the Gablonz glassworks. A rare and undamaged collector's item. The famous glassmaker and teacher Jaroslav Brychta at the Glass School in Gablonz, Bohemia, specialized in such large glass figures in the 1950s. The doctor figure is made of solid glass. These figures have become very rare, partly because there were no large editions. The figures were made entirely by hand. This required great craftsmanship and a lot of time until such a figure was completed. Please review all photos as they are part of the description.
