    Original WW2 1941 Pearl Harbor - DAY OF -Vintage Newspaper - Extremely Rare World War 2 Memorabilia - Japan Strikes United States - USS Arizona Sunk Condition: The newspaper is in good condition. It has been folded and sore there are the standard creases as seen in the picture Description: Printed on December 7th, 1941 this newspaper covers the Japanese surprise attack. on Pearl Harbor. What I find tragic about this paper is on the bottom right the paper says “5 dead” as the USS Arizona hadn’t sunk yet. In my 2 years of running this store and 10 years of estate sales/collecting in general this is the third Pearl Harbor Attack newspaper printed on December 7th, 1941 I’ve seen. Having a newspaper printed on the actual day (and not December 8th when the US declared war on Japan) is so incredibly rare to find. Also, to be blunt, the newspapers from Oahu are reprints.
