Antique Montgomery Ward Airline 62-177 6D6 Vacuum Tube Radio, Made in USA - 1935. This is a large radio, measuring 17” tall, 15-1/4” wide and 10-3/4” deep. A true piece of radio history! This would have graced a upper class radio of its time. Only the finest quality of parts are used in this radio. This cabinet is designed by Wards Bureau of Design. This radio is licensed under all R.C.A and Hazeltine patents. The tubes used in this radio are licensed under R.C.A. patents. Powers on but buzzes and seems to squelch some on short wave. Lights work inside cabinet. Needs tube replacement and those are listed in the photos Seven tube standard and shortwave receiver. The case is in great condition for age, not perfect but in superb shape. The fabric behind the grille is a bit worn. The bezel of the dial is not cracked or chipped. Overall, this radio is in excellent condition and has a replaced plug and wire….all other components seem to be original. I did not run continuity inside the
