This is an antique Victorian 5-piece porcelain wash stand set in the Thistle Pattern. It was produced by J&M Company and dates from 1870-90. The set includes a large cold water pitcher, wash bowl, shaving mug/cup, vase, and soap dish. The pitcher measures 12" tall, 8 1/2" long, and 7 1/2" wide. The bowl measures 15 1/4" in diameter and 5" tall. The cup measures 4" tall and 4 1/4" long. The vase is 5 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide. The soap dish it measures 5" in diameter and 4" tall. All of the pieces are in very good shape except that one of the small jugs has a piece missing from the handle.
