WOW! What a fantastic maxi! Perhaps intended to be a swimsuit cover-up? Two large pieces of roughly trapezoid-shaped fabric with a scoop top fastened at the shoulders & loosely tied at the sides. Fully lined with black acetate which can be seen through the sides. Colorful outside fabric is 100% acrylic crepe commonly (but mistakenly) called barkcloth because of its texture. This kind of fabric was mostly made in Hawaii or Japan & was wildly popular in the mid-century for Hawaiian & psychedelic clothing of that era. Beautiful neon bright floral pattern. Handmade by a skilled seamstress - the front & back are slightly different - the front is smaller & has darts. Excellent condition. One size fits most - FLAT measurements follow: 14" shoulders 31-32" top width 32-37" bottom width 55" length *No refunds unless item is misrepresented due to a mistake on my part.
