These bellows were made in early 19th century. They are completely handcarved from 2 solid pieces of hardwood from handles to “cheek” to bellow. It has black leather squeezes on both sides, at base of cheeks and covers the top of nozzle. Nozzle appears to be copper or brass. Rivets attach leather to wood . Rivets at top of leather are decorative & larger than side rivets. Measurements are 22 1/2” x 8 1/4”, Squeeze is 4”open & 2 1/8” when squeezed. Great piece of Folkart.
