Dragon Pin Bakelite Button Brooch Steampunk Serpent Antique Buckle BeadRage I so love this piece but I love dragons. I've searched for this button in the past and could never find another. I used a very large bakelite amber buckle circa 30-40's for the base background. The 2ndary black smaller buckle I believe is celluloid - I 409 tested it an basically got darker results not the lighter amber color we all like to see so not guaranteeing it to be Bakelite. The top button is also Bakelite and tested. The dragon has a lovely greenish patina and I always like that look so I never tried to clean it. This is a big piece and measures 2 and 5/8 inches across. 2 and 1/2 inches tall. I always like to tell folks to cut out a piece of paper that size if your not quite sure how big it will be when you get it. It is of course another one and only piece as I can not replicate this one. It is a beauty.
