Overview: Up for sale is a fantastic and captivating bronze sculpture by Curtis Jere (C. Jere). Curtis Jere is the collaboration of two brothers, Curtis and Jerry, who set up shop in San Francisco, California. They were well known for their fantastic sculpture work, particularly birds. This piece shows a child with a bunch of balloons. Very reminiscent of another California artist, Malcolm Moran. Piece is on a nice dark wood base. C. Jere nameplate affixed, signed and dated '71. Condition: Fair to Good overall condition. The sculpture is missing one balloon from the bunch. It looks to be missing whatever the figure was holding in the right hand as well. Base has multiple scratches and scuffs. Measurements: Sculpture measures approximately 12.5 inches high (to the tip of the balloons) and 8" (to the top of the figure's head). Base is approximately 4 inches square.
