Crown Staffordshire Hunting Scene Cache Pot and Bell - England. From the company's beginning in 1885, Crown Staffordshire became the largest bone china manufacturer in England after the war. Wedgewood purchased the company in 1973 and produced tableware under the name until 1985 when Coalport was moved into the works. The vibrant color scene of hunters, horses and dogs in the fox hunt whirl around the bell; note the fox; brown trim on rims. This collectible pattern has been discontinued and these pieces are HTF. Beautiful tabletop decor for huntsman/woman. Preowned in very good vintage condition. The bell and cache pot have minor shelf wear; no chips or damage noted; there is some bell ringer scratches on the interior and production marks on rim. The Crown Staffordshire logo is stamped C1970s. Bell measures 5.25" H 2.75" D at rim; cache pot 4.25" H, 4.5" D Respectfully packaged to arrive safely to you. D30020a
