Delighted to be offering this absolutely fabulous original 1940s elegant ball gown or would make a wonderful statement piece Christmas dress! The top is made of a lightweight almost sheer black velvet, 3/4 wide dolman sleeves or bracelet sleeves, rap style bodice that has that has an eye hook closure where my fingers are, this is secured at the waist with a wrap eye and hook closure, matching buckle belt, a super full 180”circumference hemline, the full length 9skirt is made of a stiff Taffeta satin like fabric that has embroidered black thread that is a slight fringe, very unique I’ve never seen anything like it in my life! It is made by Dorian, there is no size label, pretty free bust approximately 36 inch bust but the waist is about 26 inches. There might be a little wiggle room if you want to move the eye and hook a bit. On the mannequin, I did not hook the wrap where it belongs at the bust, I think it looks better with a deep V-neck, but that would be up to you. Please refer to th
