Stunning vintage designer Boucher piece. Articulated, clear rhinestone necklace collar with silver tone settings. The necklace has a graceful curvature around the neckline. Channel set rows of baguettes fill the four sections in the front of the necklace. At the shoulder line single rhinestone strands form the back pieces to the closure. The closure is a fold over style with pave rhinestones. All rhinestones are present and in good clear vintage condition. This necklace is a beautiful design & style that is expected from a Boucher piece. Necklace measures 15 inches and is worn high as a collar type necklace. The back is Rhodium plated. It is signed Boucher with an inventory number of 3359, dating it to the early 1950s. Boucher is one of our finest vintage designers know for his highly stylized designs. Some of his pieces are in the Smithsonian as examples of Mid Century costume jewelry designs.
