Antique 1860s Whale Oil Kerosene Glass Lamp Footed Stem German Burner Miniature Exquisite example of a mid 19th century glass whale oil lamp featuring a stemmed / footed base and adorned in hand drawn gold paint accents! Features one of the smallest burners made for oil lamps, made by Thiel & Bardenheuer of Ruhla Germany. The prongs of the burner had been bent outwards to adapt an inappropriate chimney, however, they can easily be bent back into place.
