Since my kid was into horror movies, I said we need to try using a Ouija board by candlelight in the basement at midnight! I secretly set my alarm for 11:45. Cranky and complaining, we all made it down to the basement. My fiance and stepdaughter sat indian style while I turned off the light. I lit 3 candles and set them in between each of us. The girls were scared. I called out to the darkness: "Is anyone here" and was slightly startled at how fast the planchette moved to YES. My fiance said "I didn't move it, I swear" as my stepdaughter made a run for the door. It slammed behind her and a draft blew out the candles. I felt my way to the steps and climbed until I could find the light switch. I went back down to find my fiance, eyes closed and hands on the planchette, moving faster than humanly possible.
