SCARCE 1960’s DISNEYKINS RCA VICTOR MARX PREMIUM BOXED SET PROMOTIONAL GIVEAWAY. Marx, (1961) A set of (5) Marx Disneykins released as a promotional set by RCA Victor. With the advent of color television in 1961, RCA dealerships offered a free Disneykins set to customers who came in to try out the new color TV, marking the first time Disneykins were used in a marketing giveaway. The figures are housed in a red box which reads "Courtesy of Your RCA VICTOR Dealer" along the bottom with an opening resembling a television screen. At center of the insert is Ludwig Von Drake, on either side are Disneykins of Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. Insert includes text and logo for RCA Measuring 3.75"x4.25" Awesome rare vintage collectible Disneykins that are super tough to come by.
