Overview: Up for sale is an incredible antique oil painting on board of a South American mountain village under a large snow-capped peak. It is signed at lower right and appears to read "A. Salgurros." Based on age and wear, I'd date this to the 1940s. Masterfully executed. Framed in a period dark wood frame. Condition: Painting is in good condition. Canvas is laid down on backing board. Top left portion of canvas and left edge lifting from board. Frame is in fair to good condition, with numerous scuffs. Painting is slightly loose in frame. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 9 inches high x 7 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 11.5 inches high x 8.75 inches wide.
