Wonderful Florentine style gilt music jewelry box from what appears to be Royal Sealy Japan with floral prints decoupaged on the front doors. This is the original box, and it is in fabulous condition, the red lining in the chest of drawers still bright and clean. The box was originally a music box, with a wind-up key on the back, and it still works. Three drawers, all in gilt, pull out. Use to hold jewelry, or if you prefer, keep in a crafting room to hold small treasures--charms or rings or even something related to your daily work like paper clips or thumb tacks. Or simply set on a vintage vanity tray and admire each morning as you prepare for your day. The piece measures 8-1/4" tall by 8" wide and 5" deep. In good condition. A very special piece.
