This vintage fur coat from the 1950s is made of raccoon fur and features a striped pattern in black and brown. The coat is a mid-length style with mitered corner sleeves and a button closure. It is lined with satin and has accents of buttons. Features and information: This coat is in excellent condition It has a unique sleeve detail where the stripes are sewn in a mitered pattern The coat seems to be an extra large with measurements as follows: Shoulder to end of sleeve is 24 in Back neck / collar to bottom hem is 40 in Armpit to armpit when closed is 20 in I am wearing the coat and the photos and I am in approximate size 16. It has a very structured look and feel. The base material does not have a lot of give which is what gives the coat a very structured look. It also provides a sturdy long-lasting foundation for the fur.
