This porcelain sugar bowl with lid and cream pitcher was produced in the United States around 1900. Both pieces are signed Osborne who was an artist at Pickard and later opened his own decorating studio. The sugar bowl measures 6 inches across the handles and is approximately 4 1/4 inches high, including the lid. The cream pitcher measures 4.5 inches from spout to handle and 2 inches tall. The decoration is in the art nouveau style. There are cartouches of stylized flowers on a cobalt ground. Three borders of decoration are painted with blue and white luster colors. They are accented with gilding and floral designs. The lower portions of each piece have textured gilding. The rims and handles are gilded with heavy gold. Condition: Excellent
