Has some sort of tape head issue. Seems so close to working I just have never repaired one before. The tape moves forward and back the one head continuously spins. when I got it it was playing an entire tape in about 20 seconds. Now it’s playing tapes in reverse. Belt is functional on the inside but albeit old. All the electronic/display pieces work. I hooked speakers to it and heard rewinding. I just have no experience with cassette players. May just need to be taken apart to clean the heads/ rolling pins. SOLD AS IS FOR PARTS ONLY.
