This 13-inch MacBook Pro is from around 2012, running openSUSE Leap 15.6 Linux instead of the original macOS. It has an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive. Cosmetically, there are a few dents on the lid and some scuffs along the edges, which you can see in the photos. The keyboard and screen are in decent shape, though it’s not in pristine condition. Important note: the built-in WiFi adapter is not working or not recognized, so you’ll either need to use a USB WiFi dongle or connect via Ethernet. It powers on fine, but the battery status is not fully tested—be prepared that you may need to replace or service the battery down the road. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly way to get a Linux-based MacBook form factor, as long as you’re aware of the WiFi situation.
