A monochromatic combination of crystal clear & black beads on heavy black thread - providing sparkle with movement. The open nature of the swag design allows glimpses of the lining fabric. Well executed workmanship, with three different styles of beading (along the top, the fringe & the swag effect) - creating a wonderful & simple design of precision. This early 1900's handbag is in excellent condition, with no bead loss or snags. The silver toned frame is decorated with flowers and leaves. The beadwork is well attached to the frame at all points, showing no signs of stress or aging. The frame opens and closes smoothly with a kiss clasps, the hinges are in good working order.
