vintage glass Perfect Cream Separator apothecary jar patented on January 2, 1906, and manufactured by J.W. Hinkley in Watertown, Massachusetts. It was used to separate cream from milk. The milk was poured into the top, and the cream would rise to the top and be collected in the upper chamber. The skim milk would remain in the bottom chamber. This type of separator was a common household item in the early 20th century before the widespread use of electric cream separators. Great condition packaged with care and ready to ship
