Original, vintage authentic German A1 (23”x33”) movie poster from a 1970’s re-release of the 1967 spy film “You Only Live Twice” starring Sean Connery as the iconic British MI6 Agent 007, James Bond. The poster is in very good to very fine condition & displays beautifully. This unrestored poster has a bright colorful design & portrays a hedonistic, swingin’ ‘60’s image of Agent 007 in a pool surrounded by prototypical “Bond girls” in bikinis. The poster has general signs of use particularly around the edges & corners. It has very minor tears & minor smudging that is not very noticeable. Please note that the poster looks as if it has never been folded. During the filming in Japan, it was announced that Sean Connery would retire from the role of Bond, but after one film's absence, he returned in 1971's “Diamonds Are Forever”. “You Only Live Twice” received positive reviews & grossed over $111 million (equivalent to $1 billion in 2023) in worldwide box office.
