Unidentified pitcher with 3 women's / ladies raised relief faces. It has the Shimazu style crackle of the lower quality pieces but I do not know. Another piece online claims the Shimazu clan as the makers of a similar piece. One head has a woman's painted face with hair styled on top of her head. The other heads feature a headdress in colors of red blue and green with metallic gold paint.. Handle has green diamonds. Around the top lip stylized flower or open heart design. Around the base is band of lotus blooms and there are grape clusters. Paint feels like it applied after the glazing process. Underside there appears to have been a mark that is now missing as there is some damage to the base. There is also what looks to be like a manufacture flaw or relief opening. I do not see any other chips, open cracks or damage. There is extensive crazing all over and under the paint. 5" tall x 5.5" wide x 3" diam base Please look closely at the images - NO RETURNS.
