This is an unusual vintage clutch bag dating from the 70s. This clutch was created because at that time, in some parts of Italy, there was an enormous problem with pick pocketing and theft of handbags by sneak thieves. Someone got the idea to fool thieves and designed a bag what looked like a rolled up magazine being carried. The concept was later copied in the late 90s- 2000. This is an original clutch from the 70s, dated on the magazine cover 1973. It is made from a rigid plastic, in the shape of a folded or rolled magazine. Back has a little piece lifted but could probably be fixed with some fabric glue or super glue.
