Very good condition with only gentle wear. No damage staining or alterations. Judy Hornby was a London designer that moved to New York in 1970s and one of the pieces under her label was bestowed the "dress of the year" for 1971 by the Fashion Museum in Bath. She loved a spiral, bias cut and her dresses feel like they slide on and wrap around you to both cling to the body and skim over your curves. It makes the dress very comfortable to wear as well. * Dreamy 1980s Judy Hornby Couture seafoam silk & metallic gold dress * Dramatic puffed sleeves with a ruffled center slit and peaked shoulders * Bias cut through the body with a floaty mermaid skirt * Skirt is four layers of silk chiffon with a side slit for extra movement * Seductive low back adds glamour to the ethereal feel * 100% silk with metallic thread jacquard * Slips on overhead with no side opening * Made in France * Measurements approx laying flat * Length: 52” * Pit to pit 17” * Sleeves: 26” * Waist: 16”
