Antique Pressed Glass German Beer Stein Barley & Hops Exhibition Chicago 1911 This antique German beer stein was made of pressed glass with molded facets for optical effects. The lid is pewter with porcelain hand-painted inlay. The stein is dedicated to the Second International Barley and Hops Exhibition that took place in Chicago in 1911, more specifically - to the American Exposition of brewing machines, materials and products. It was made in Germany on special order from the American Exposition. The stein is in excellent condition with no cracks, lines or chips. The stein is 7" tall to the top of the thumblift, 0.5L capacity. Porcelain inlay stamped Burley and Co. Chicago Made in Germany Condition: Excellent Year: 1911 Country: Germany Height: 7 in.
