This Department 56 North Pole Village Piece - Elsie's Gingerbread- is in the Original Box, is New and in excellent condition. This piece was limited to the year of production which was 1998. It is a Vintage Piece and Retired in 1999. Elsie's Gingerbread House #56398 never displayed, only taken out of the box to take pictures. Add some holiday cheer to your display collection with this classic, vintage 1998 DEPARTMENT 56 NORTH POLE SERIES - "Elsie's Gingerbread." This building is a limited edition and in is NEW - Introduced in 1998 and Retired in 1999. Elsie's Gingerbread House is Hand Painted Porcelain and includes "magic" smoke unit and a .5ounce bottle of "Magic Smoke." It features the magic of a real smoking chimney. This unique piece would be a great addition to your collection. The box was stored in our garage for years and has some spots on the box and shows age and wear from storage. Please see pictures.
