Beautiful vintage butterscotch color bakelite prayer beads or necklace. Lovely varied coloring with some lighter centers and some marbling. 13 beads leading to the central bead and tassel. The central bead measures 30mm x 15mm at widest point. The other beads measure 20mm x 16mm on average with some variation. Total weight is 63 grams on my scale. There are no marks, and I see a few small nicks on a bead, but great vintage condition overall. The tassel and the string through beads shows some light soil in places. These dont smell like bakelite, but look like bakelite, and the 409 test was positive for bakelite.
