This is a 100% Targhee Wool. It is chain plied and approx 300yds. The fiber was purchased from an Etsy shop called Melissa’s Yarn Barn. I am calling this a Dk weight but given the nature of hand spun yarn, it will not be a constistent weight throughout. This yarn was spun in my home which is smoke free and cat friendly, but all of my fiber is kept in airtight totes and away from the cats, and I do my best to keep them away from my wheel while I’m spinning. This is a non-superwash wool, so it will felt, so it will need to be hand washed in a gentle detergent or wool wash, I really like to use the brand Soak as it is a non rinse wash and smells very nice.
