Overview: Up for sale is this a lovely oil painting by listed Brazilian artist, Peter Van Der Auwera. Van Der Auwera was active in the 1950's and 1960's (based on his pieces that have gone to auction). This appears to date to the 1970's or 1980's based on age. It depicts a rural barn/cottage next to a lake. I love the ducks/swans in the lake below. It is a well-executed and beautiful piece. Signed and dated 1967 at lower left and framed in a nice wood frame. Condition: The painting is in excellent condition. Frame shows numerous small dings. Measurements: Painting measures 18 inches wide x 14 inches high. Frame measures approximately 22.75 inches wide x 18.75 inches high.
