Ornate Jimi Hendrix style vintage 1970's (or more modern reproduction, it's hard to tell) hippie vest probably of a "Ottoman Turkish" or Afghan ethnicity. Sometimes used as traditional wedding waistcoats. Luxe black velvet is liberally covered with heavy gold embroidery, intricate beading and tiny little mirrors. The backside is a work of art. This is the fanciest and largest vest I've ever seen. Very heavy - weighs 2 pounds! Fully lined with little ball closures and working front pockets. Looks rarely if ever used. Groovy!
