For your consideration is this lovely Revolving Sandwich Tray Lazy Susan produced by Rubel and Company of NYC. Advertisements began appearing for this piece in newspapers in 1951 (newspapers online document repository) and was called "Lazy Daisy". The piece is comprised of a brasstoned center stemmed handle, a brasstoned poinsettia shaped metal tray stabilizing apparatus, a hunter green lead crystal center, a silvertoned ball bearing apparatus, and a clear lead cystal base. The center stem will unscrew allowing for easy disassembly for storage. Originally the piece came with six leaf shaped sandwich plates that were inserted into notches in the hunter green center and the metal apparatus held them in place. Unfortunately, the plates have been separated from the lazy susan over the years and are not available for purchase through this listing. The Lazy Daisy turntable is not only hard to find in clear, but I was unable to locate any comps in this hunter green...making this indeed a rar
