American girl doll Ruthie in excellent condition. She is clean and free of marks, stains and odors. She stands on her own and both arms and legs can hold a pose. Her limbs are what I consider 'play tight' , meaning they are slightly more flexible than 'collector tight'. This is how the dolls come brand new, as it facilitates play. She comes with her meet book, and a handmade replica meet outfit. The dress is handmade by me from a 30s style pattern. Her socks were dyed to match the light blue of her original socks, and her shoes are off brand Mary Jane's. Her hair ribbon replicates the original, with color to match her dress. While I am getting better, I do not claim to be a seamstress at this point. There are some minor flaws in the dress, but nothing that detracts from its fit or look on the doll.
