Susanne Apgar - "Get Me Down", Oil on panel, 8" x 10" (13.5" x 11.5" framed) I acquired this original oil painting from La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Hollywood, California back in 2015. It was part of the "Boombox Creators & Holiday Pop Up Show" exhibition. I paid $400 plus California sales tax for it. I own six more paintings by the artist and met her way back when. I think she's brilliant and I'm a big fan. She's based out of Toronto, Canada. She's exhibited in galleries throughout North America, mostly in "pop surrealism" group shows. And I know at least one of her paintings has been published as the book cover for an anthology of fiction. Please study the photographs. You'll find impressive attention to detail. The text within the painting reads, "You Make Me Crazy." This one is new as it's never been displayed at my home. It's been securely stored in a temperature-controlled storage unit since I acquired it.
