An attractive 1960s tourist bracelet with petit-point turquoise arranged in a floral-like pattern. Silver drop and rope detailing accent the design. The treated stones are set in serrated bezels in a split shank that is stamped with decorative thunderbird and arrow designs and repousse' bump outs. The bracelet measures 5 1/4" end-to-end on the interior, plus a gap of 1 1/8". It's 5/8" high at center and tapers down to 5/16" at the terminals. There's a teeny tiny stress crack adjacent to the tail of the "R" in the Sterling stamp. It does not go all the way through the shank and shouldn't get any worse, since that's where cluster work is soldered to the face of the bracelet. I'm inclined to think that little flaw wasn't considered a problem at the time of manufacture and was sold as you see it now. Marked on the reverse "Sterling" and weighs in at 17 grams. Even with the flaw, I consider the bracelet to be in very good vintage condition without much wear at all.
