One-of-a-kind midcentury leather pouch from Linea A by SAPAF (Società Artigiana Pelletterie Artistiche Fiorentine), the Florence, Italy, luxury leather handbag company founded in 1954 and now known as Sapaf Atelier 1954. Glossy leather body in a deep burgundy red. Embossed diagonal striped texture. Gold-tone hinged frame opening with acorn-shaped kiss-lock closure. Frame has beautiful twisted arms to give a unique profile. Gusseted sides. Gold plaque on front with logo. Black lining with gold print logo and text: "Linea A by Sapaf, Made in Italy."
