This rare club comes from Schmelrers which was a Kansas City company that went out of business in 1931. The clubs possibly over 100 years old!! It's a fantastic club and it takes an accuracy of stroke and gives a maneuverability modern putters could never produce. It gives a "feel" unlike other putters. It's in amazing shape for the age. It has a little string that I believe was attached to the grip but I REFUSE to try and reattach it for fear of causing adverse consequences to the value. It will be included of course for you or your expert to do with as you wish. I've had the putter for about 7 years and my golf days are over so it's time for a new custodian. Other than a few "tinkering" putts OF COURSE it was NEVER used by me to golf with. I've included a write up from antiquegolfscotland.c as description of the company for some history. Sold obo.
